EX. "A Man of Light"(2001) directed by NAOKO NAKAGAWA in English version.
Synopsis :
This documentary film is a learning experience based on Dr. Rihito Kimura's lecture on bioethics.  It follows the travels of NAOKO NAKAGAWA, inspired by and in conjunction with his lecture.  Eventually it reveals new historical truths such as the relation between the Human Genome Project, Agent Orange, and the atomic bomb. When I was 20, I went to Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Museum, and got shocked at what happened in Japan in 1945.  In 2000, I found the truth of Human Genome Project.  It took a long time for me to find exit from the mental damage of the a-bomb, but I am really satisfied with this project, because I could express my feeling not in emotional but in artistic and scientific way.  As an artist, I have to express this experience back to the world.  As my experience of an educator for 10 years in Tokyo, I think education with visual text such as my film is so important in order to understand social problems in the world.

3. Making an informative documentary video for introducing the field of biotechnology, bioethics, and other new techno-science.
Life Cycle Institute, Inc sells these visual images toward TV station and/ or TV distribution company.
